I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve been testing Made2Manage version 5.6 for several weeks with SQL Server 2008 without incident. That includes FastForms and VBA as well.
I’m sure M2M will tell you that they don’t support doing so, but it’s working fine for me.
Any of you out there doing the same thing? Have you noticed any incompatibilities?

We plan on doing the same but have been a bit too busy to start testing on it yet. I don’t think we have a specific time set aside for doing it just yet, but I’ll share what we find when we get there.
[...] I know I eluded to this in an article several months ago, but I’m hoping one of my readers is already using this in production. [...]
What operating sytem are you using? Windows 7?
Chaume, I’ll respond in an e-mail momentarily.
david, thanks for message… Im back to windows xp.
Hello,
We are planning on switching to SQL 2008 from SQL 2000, we have 6.0 sp3. Did you experience any issues with 08 and 60 sp3?
It is my understanding that 6.0 supports 2008, but not 2008R2. You’ll need to make sure to use the correct version.
I would call support to verify that.
I am running M2M version 6.01 on SQL Server SR2 and Windows 7 client.
I jsut finished upgrading my test server from 6.0 to 6.01. It is 2008R2 virtual serve running on Hyper-V. The SQL server is a separate virtual 2008R2 server running SQL 2008.
